    Criticism

Criticism can be harmful much more than helpful.  It causes people to lose confidence in themselves and thereby weakens them.  People want to learn a better way from someone who genuinely wants to help them. (Chester Karrass and William Glasser.  Both-Win Management.)

Wishing you peace and well being as you surrender your ego and find ways to help others without putting them down.

    Self Deception

You can't act on your desires alone.  You have to think, contemplate, the details of what needs to be removed and what needs to be cultivated.  It's up to you.  (Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.  Great Easter Sun.)

Wishing you peace and well being as you confront you self deceptions.

    Listening

When I invoke myself in someone elses story, I am no longer present as the listener.  I am less available to support them and less aware of myself. We mold and taint what others share by projecting our own stories onto those of our speakers.  (Gregory Kramer.  Insight Dialogue: The Interpersonal Path to Freedom)

Wishing you peace and well being you drop your ego and open to hear others.

    Kind Heart

A kind heart is the root of harmony and mutual respect.  It prevents us from feeling enstranged or fearful of others.  It also protects us from becoming angry, attached, closed-minded, proud or jealous.  (Thubten Chodron. Open Mind, Clear Mind.)

Wishing you peace and well being as you face your selfishness and open your heart.
